I first saw @eltonjohn in 1992 at the @grandoleopry . He played solo as a memorial show for his original bassist Dee Murray. Just he and two pianos. As if I wasn’t already hooked, seeing him play that show confirmed it. Now, 30 shows later I’m starting to say goodbye. Three shows booked so far in my long goodbye. Maybe more! You’ve been the soundtrack to my life, the ups and downs, for 30 years. It’s bittersweet to think about these final shows, but it’s been an amazing ride.
