Last week, Knoxville’s go-to spot for dinner events, had the great couple that operate Tootsie Truck in for a pop-up dinner. We’ve not had a bad dinner from any of the Central Collective events and this was no exception! Admittedly, I had a preview when Daniel and Rebecca asked me to photograph a couple of the dishes for promotional purposes. The Tootsie Truck if you don’t know is Knoxville’s farm-to-table truck who works with seasonal ingredients and local farmers and artisans. Represented at this dinner was JEM Farm, Shelton Farms, Ricky Bailey, Cruze Farm, Knox Whiskey Works, and many more. These two are the real deal when it comes to supporting the locals. In fact Rebecca even helps run the New Harvest Farmers Market. So here’s a rundown of the dinner and make sure to say hi to these 2 when you see them out at an event or farmers market!
