Yesterday marked a year since Mandee and I met in person during the snowstorm. We celebrated the evening at the Grill at Highlands Row. I lovely fine dining experience and the atmosphere is great. Several of our friends had complimented the establishment and they were right! We started out with signature Moonshine Martinis. Mandee’s choice was the Apple Pie Martini and mine was straight-up. After having a taste of her’s, I quickly asked if mine could be adjusted and they obliged. Mandee’s Medium-Rare steak was slightly over cooked but my Medium-Well Filet was perfect inevery way along with grilled asparagus and mandee had Okra fries. To finish the evening, we were presented a fabulous Chocolate Souffle with not quite enough Raspberries…but again, our server graciously brought more to the table. The staff of the Grill seemed excellent and even take your coat for you when you come in. That gesture seems to be a lost art these days.
It was a lovely dining experience to mark a year together.
