Located in Homberg Place in Bearden and at the corner of Broadway and Central in North Knoxville, Holly’s Eventful Dining and Holly’s Corner are making lunchtime exciting and delicious. Creating daily menus that use whole and local ingredients, Chef Holly Hambright serves up lunch and special dinners that are sure to please the palate. Lunch is served daily featuring an ever-changing menu of expertly prepared soups, sandwiches and even an entrée special. Highlights on recent menus include Chicken and Slicks (also known as dumplings), Gumbo with creamy grits, Beef Bahn Mi sandwich, and Sweet Potato Curry soup. When asked about her revolving menu she states that she finds boredom in repeating the same items over and over. When you come in you never know what you are going to see. She thinks it is what draws people to her places.
Holly Hambright has been tempting taste buds for decades. This retired parent began her culinary career as a pastry chef then quickly discovered hot food was her passion. Stemming from a catering background in Dallas, TX she moved back to her hometown of Knoxville eventually opening her own catering business, Holly’s Eventful Dining. The desire to serve her food daily to the masses led her to open her kitchen in Homberg and Holly’s corner.
