Almost every block has a great spot for a snack or meal, great gift ideas, and friendly owners. Whether you want an active vacation or leisurely beach stay, Marseille makes an excellent destintation.
Chef Jeffrey along with Chef Jon Newman plan to open Hen+Hoc in Fall 2019 in a section of the former location of DeAlejandro’s first restaurant, The Crown & Goose. Offerings will include fresh cuts of local and region meats, housemade sausages and charcuterie, regional products like gourmet cheese, breads, rice, flours, seasonings, and a select few artisan kitchen items.
A sure sign that summer is here are the roadside peach trucks and just in time for the season is the publication of The Peach Truck Cookbook. We recently received our copy and have been waiting on the fresh peaches to show up. The team of Jessica and Stephen Rose have been delivering succulent peaches across the South for years and are now on tour nationally to deliver their peaches and promote the new cookbook.
Chef David Rule of The Walnut Kitchen has announced his plans to open an elegant new restaurant in the 16-story First Century Bank building located at the corner of Market and Church Street. The new concept from Chef Rule will focus on seasonally sourced ingredients, exceptional service, and dishes with classic and contemporary techniques in the impressive historic Knoxville space.
Chef Williams intends to continue Rebel Kitchen’s innovative techniques while putting his own vision on the solid foundation. Look for more Asian and Nordic influence along with local and regional ingredients.
